Nestled in the heart of the countryside, welcome to The Bull Pen—a recently converted farm outbuilding that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The Bull Pen is in the farmyard at the edge of the wood, overlooking the pond.
There is an open plan living area, a twin bedroom and a double room with views over the pond. There is a log burner for winter evenings.
Situated on a working farm, our retreat offers a harmonious blend of tranquility and rural activity. You may encounter a gentle flow of walkers, animals, and occasional farm vehicles passing by. It's essential to note that there could also be intermittent noise from the workshop/farm during the day, and the crowing of cockerels may greet you early in the morning.
About
The farm includes award-winning ancient woodland run as a nature reserve - great for a quiet weekend away, or a longer rural retreat. Highlights include butterflies, bluebells and nightingales in season. You are welcome to walk in the woodland on the farm.
